An important milestone was reached in August 2009 when FPSO Sevan Voyageur commenced production on the Shelley field in the Central UK North Sea. Following an efficient and successful start-up of the production plant, the unit delivered an average Technical Uptime for fourth quarter of 2009 of 98.3%.
FPSO Sevan Voyageur has continued to demonstrate the suitability of the Sevan design for operations in harsh environments and at the end of 2009 it had achieved 398 days at sea without any lost time incidents.
The FPSO departed the Shelley field in August 2010 and is currently located at the Nymo yard in Arendal, Norway, where the upgrade work required for Huntington operation is ongoing.
FPSO Sevan Voyageur is contracted to E under a fixed term of five years with extension options for operations on the Huntington field in the UK North Sea.
