Topside and Process Technology

The Topside and Process Technology area consists of the activities of KANFA AS and its subsidiaries KANFA Mator AS and KANFA Aragon AS (50% owned by KANFA AS). The primary business activities of the Kanfa group relate to the provision of services and equipment to the processing plants of the Sevan FPSOs and external clients.




KANFA AS, a 100% owned subsidiary of Sevan Marine ASA, was founded in 2000 and is a process design and engineering company offering services to the offshore industry. KANFA's employees have a long record of accomplishments and have been involved in most of the Norwegian field developments as well as several international projects over the past decades. KANFA is located in Asker, Norway.	KANFA Aragon AS was founded in 2007 and is a 50% owned subsidiary of KANFA AS. KANFA Aragon provides environmentally sound solutions and systems for recovery, conditioning, conversion and transport of natural gas for FPSOs. Under a contract with Samsung Heavy Industries Co., LTD, KANFA Aragon is engaged in the development of the liquefied natural gas production topside to the world`s first Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) production vessel. KANFA Aragon is located in Bergen, Norway.	KANFA Mator AS was founded in 1990 and represents a unique knowledge–base with a combination of theoretical and practical experience. The company provides services to the oil & gas industry worldwide within the areas of primary separation, gas handling and water treatment for increased production efficiency and improved equipment regularity. KANFA Mator is a 100% owned subsidiary of KANFA AS and is located in Porsgrunn, Norway.
