An important milestone was reached in August 2009 when FPSO Sevan Voyageur commenced production on the Shelley field in the Central UK North Sea. Following an efficient and successful start-up of the production plant, the unit delivered an average Unit Uptime for fourth quarter of 2009 of 98.3%.
FPSO Sevan Voyageur have continued to demonstrate the suitability of the Sevan design for operations in harsh environments and at the end of 2009 it achieved 398 days at sea without any lost time incidents.
FPSO Sevan Voyageur is currently operating under a production sharing contract with Premier Oil Plc; a leading independent oil and gas company with producing interests in the UK, Indonesia, Pakistan and Mauritania.
